2015 Recap

Alright! Last year for me can only be summed up this way: holy f*ck! What a wild ride it was!

It started with the release of the feature "Welcome To Me" starring Kristen Wiig, directed by Shira Piven, which I wrote the score for.  Shortly after, "The Brink" premiered on HBO, which I had the pleasure to score all the episodes for, the hardest work I've ever done in my life but the most fun. The first few months of the year were filled with work to complete it, and afterwards doing yet another tour with The Actors Gang with our ongoing production of A Midsummer Nights Dream, traveling to Lyon France, Milan Italy, and Alcalá Spain.  I also designed the music and sound for the production of "How To Be A Rock Critic" at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City directed by Jessica Blank. As many of you may know, this play recalls the life of Lester Bangs, a seminal figure in rock 'n' roll critique in the 70s and 80s in a one man performance by Erik Jensen. Note that it is a work in progress, so look forward to seeing more productions of it in the future!

In the fall I started working on a documentary to be named later which I am really excited about! However, as documentaries go, the end date is uncertain as of yet. I will be certain to let you know how it progresses.

I am pleased to say that there are many upcoming projects on the horizon in film and theater that excite me greatly and I look forward to sharing my new year with you.

Until next time, my friends!
